Here my passion begins

My passion for photography was born when one day, without a valid reason, I decided to buy a camera, hence on March 8, 2020 I took this step and immediately felt in love with it.

My knowledge of photography, photographic techniques and the camera were absolutely nil or little more. Fortunately, passion and tenacity have allowed me to acquire the necessary tools day by day to be able to take pictures by focusing on portraits of everyday life, often even stolen, in search of people’s souls.

After an initial period of color photographs, I found myself in a quite spontaneous way turning them in black and white, till the point a made the drastic decision to buy a monochrome camera, a choice that was perhaps a bit arduous, but always shared with what I felt and feel inside, and which I have not regretted yet.

Why B&W ?

When you photograph people in color, you photograph their clothes. But when you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their souls.” This is Ted Grant’s aphorism, which I totally espouse.

What differentiates me the most is that the way I see and shoot with my camera is done from a different perspective: that of a person in a wheelchair, who has found photography to be a great passion and life purpose in artistic terms.
